Happy New Year to everyone out there in Mopar Land!  Hope your Holidays were wonderful and relaxing.   Time to get those winter projects going now that the leaves are off the trees and there's a nip in the air!  After all, you do want to be finished by the time the Rally rolls around.  That's coming faster than you think.  As of today, Jan 1, it's now only 156 days away, and the time will race by as it always does.

Our Get-gether this month is at the Fosters Freeze in Milpitas, again.  We had such a good turn-out there the last time we're gonna do it again!  Just off Calaveras Blvd, on Serra Rd. near Abel in Milpitas, with easy access from 680, 880 or 237 freeways.

Come on down and enjoy a burger or a classic soft serve with your fellow Mopar people.  My favorite is the chocolate/vanilla soft serve!

The First Annual Blessing of the Hot Rods will be held at Christ Child Church, 23230 Summit Rd, Los Gatos, Sat Sept 12 from 10-4.  Free parking and admission, and no entry fee.  All cars welcome.  Food available.

In yet another example of how quickly things can change in todays economy, I went to Autowest Dodge in Fremont today to drop off some copies of the Bee to them, and to thank them once again for hosting their car show on Aug 2.  Imagine my surprise as I turned off Automall Pkwy and noticed that there were BowTie signs in place of our beloved Ram emblem.  Yep, Autowest Dodge/Chrysler is done and gone.  In its place is the new Fremont Shevvie dealership.  Not sure what is going to happen, I talked with a couple of people there and they said they had very little notice of this change and

The September Get-Together for Mopar Alley will be at Peter's Cafe in Millbrae at El Camino & Millbrae Ave, just off Hwy 101 at the Millbrae exit.

Wed Sept 9 (09/09/09) Starts approx 7PM til ?

Peter's Cafe has been  very active lately in sponsoring casual get togethers for all makes/models of cars, lets get those classic Mopars there to show 'em what fine Detroit Iron really looks like.
